WTB a 3-4 in duplex boiler pump

Anyone have an extra working steam pump for sale. Need it in the 3-4 in range (loa).
Tested and Must work against at least 60-70 boiler psi. Vertical or horizontal.

hey, sorry for late!! reply, Don. was off teaching myself how to code C++ and then make 100's of projects, and rebuilt a few cars, and now I'm back into steam.

anyway, one project I am currently trying to finish is this self contained boiler system which uses one of your 3/4 pumps! Works like a champ. You can see it here:

No reason it should not work..the logic is sound.

All you need is an accurate way of measuring water level, which is much easier on a stationary boiler.

steam control valve is servo operated, left side of pic. The sensor is brass, stainless, and teflon. If more work gets done on hull, I will begins a new thread... yep, lab tests often different than real life...if sensor triggers ECU too often, I will change the code to add a delay w/re-read. I wrote the code to include a rotary encoder which is used to set pump run time. It is at 5 seconds now, but can be set anywhere between 1-40 seconds...but I shake and rock the boiler and it is fairly accurate with center top sensor location.

I'll sell you a set of PROVEN plans for a TRUE duplex pump for $100 US: 5/8" x 5/8" x 3/8" steam cylinder bore x stroke x water cylinder bore. All cylinders are fully double acting.
This pump falls within your dimensional requirements, and mounts vertical with the steam cylinders at the bottom.

Pictures of this pump are somewhere on this blog, where this type of pump was discussed extensively.

Note that a true duplex pump has more complicated valve gear than the Brocklin pump discussed herein. While Brocklin's is a beautiful model, it is not a duplex pump.

Someone with a small CNC mill should not have too much difficulty in building one.

I built three pumps to these drawings on manual machines and they all work very well. Sold two of them and kept one for my CPR Hudson 2888.
