Brian you need a bucket of Texaco Crater 2 near that backhead. The heat keeps it thin enough to paint on the gears. Yours is going to be a lot nicer than mine!

You can put a sealed 50 pound pail in the bed of the truck, drag it 300 miles all over Wyoming visiting multiple drilling rigs, pull into the office yard, get out of your truck, and it’s all over you.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I’ll have to share some more progress as I try and get it ready for Cabin Fever.
I saw picks if a shay with cans of grease on the running boards. I think it was white ands green with Esso On it. I’m guessing it’s grease. Maybe I’ll get my dad busy on making a miniature one. Hehehe

I just looked up Esso grease. I’m either wrong on the colors or wrong on the make. Lol. Wish I can find that picture.
