3/4" LBSC Virginina Castings
For sale is a partial set of 3/4" LBSC Virginia castings along with the construction book. Cylinders and drivers are partially machined. Asking $300 or best reasonable offer. Can be paid with check or money order. Can also take Visa/MC/Amex for a small fee. Free shipping to the lower 48 via USPS Priority Mail. Fascinating you paint your castings before you machine them? I never thought to do that however the more I think about it, It actually makes a ton of sense. Especially if you use a good paint that doesn't chip too easily. Worst case I guess you have to do a little bit of touch up when done. The more I think about it I made paint my next set of castings prior to machining and see how it goes. Anybody else do this?

I do it on wheels where I want a clear (unpainted) face around a tire.
It also makes shot blasting of the casting prior to painting easy, since no need to worry about maybe roughing up a finish machined surface.

All the painted castings shown came to me as how you see them. I personally don't paint castings before I machine them. I'm just trying to sell them for a friend who wants to see the proceeds of the sale donated to the PLS Gauge 1 group.

The first set of castings is sold. I have a second set of castings that I am asking $450 obo plus free shipping. Comes with a few extra parts that the first set didn't have.
