A remarkable video.
I have motored hundreds of miles on my Fairmont motorcars (legally),
but never seen such a "rugged" track and operation as shown in that video.
Yea: Scary "trestle." Undoubtedly not the original one...

Wonder why the line was originally built, and what type of equipment originally ran on those tracks. From the looks of them, they've been there for a long time. They also look like they've been pretty much abandoned for a long time with zero maintenance done to it.

The trucks that they run are very interesting and a good way to solve the need for transportation with very little capital or materials. That tunnel was very interesting.

Indeed, the bridge at 2:00 minutes in looks like something out of an abandoned mine... or an amusement park ride trying to reflect the same. SCARY!

My guess is ex banana railroad or maybe a mine. What gauge does it look to everyone? I'm thinking the rail is pretty light but again not something my eye can pick very well.

Without back checking, I believe I picked up Ecuador as the location, and 20 years since abandonment. The ‘trestle’ looks like a washout to me. Being a jungle, I’m surprised it’s as passable as it is.

I'd think these make do rail cars were on that track within a year or two of it being abandoned. Maybe even a week or two.
