Re: Jet 1236 lathe
See here. I have not yet installed a VFD—medical maladies have kept me out of the shop for about four months. I’m hoping to soon get back to it.

That was all I could think of.

Re: Jet 1236 lathe
My wife has 101 uses in the kitchen after I have used it in the shop...
Too many things going on to bother listing them.

Russ Thank you very much for Grizzly s contact info, I will be contacting them on Monday after school.NP317 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 24, 2022 11:12 am What Bill said.
Call Grizzly's support team for a friendly and useful discussion.
Grizzly does carry replacement motors that are likely not listed on their website.
And their original warehouse and business center are located in Bellingham, WA, just off I-5, so at least on your same West Coast USA.

Hi Dinosaur,
I'm sorry for your delay.
I'm sure I was wrong about who wrote the vfd installation. I think it was at a different forum. I must have read some of your postings because the name is familiar.
I should have made notes, but I didn't think about it.
Believe me I'm making notes of everyone's replies. I really appreciate everyone posting things. And I mean everyone. All from Turkey bastares to rust cleaners, oil taking out sight glasses and everything else.
So, tonight I'm going to get back to cleaning it up and getting together all the parts out of the box I found.
I just want to say thank you to everyone again.
I'll take more pictures as I go.

The OP hasn't been active here since September, so we'll probably never know.
