Old anti-fowling paint.
The photo was taken after the bottom was blasted with high pressure water to remove the mussels and algae.

I'll find a picture for you of what a prop looks like after 4 years in semi-fresh water. It could be an issue for you.

Nothing major as of yet. And I'm not going to lie........that's fine by me because I'm not looking forward to this one. I'm sure you'll all be hearing me whine and ask a million questions once I get the green light. :lol:

I've actually eyeballed a few outboard lower drives recently. Not so sure it will be very easy to mount a much larger diameter prop than stock due to lower units case. Might think about having the tidal prop separately mounted driving the lower unit to power the pump up top.

Agreed. I did a side job for a guy that does a lot of marine stuff and he gave me two old lower units and after looking at them, I’ll definitely need to make my own mount. It was worth a shot though.
