1/8 Scale USRA Freight Car Parts
I will be having some parts cast in Bronze that are appropriate for USRA freight car among other early freight car.
I do not have a price but if you are interested please let me know how many of each you would be interested in.

Re: 1/8 Scale USRA Freight Car Parts
I guess I'm having trouble visualizing them on a car.... Can someone post a picture? This would be from early 1900s through 1920s, correct? They look nice.

Not specific to those in question, but here's a link that might help.Pontiacguy1 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 26, 2023 3:25 pm I guess I'm having trouble visualizing them on a car.... Can someone post a picture?

Wise people talk because they have something to say. Fools talk because they have to say something.

I would be interested in 16 polling pockets. 8 left pieces and 8 right pieces.
Re: 1/8 Scale USRA Freight Car Parts
Here's a photo of an appropriate car.
Edit: I should note this is a double-sheathed USRA box and Tim's poling pockets are correct for a single-sheathed car, they're slightly different. Brake wheel is the same though!John Brock

Thanks. The link had this picture in it, which also shows the polling pockets pretty well. These cars are going to be real showpieces!

The left and right masters are at the mold maker and I should have prices for the set of 4 shortly.
