Glad you got it fixed. It sucks having a machine down when you need it.

Ody...ain't that the truth! Was getting ready to start cutting the arc for some brake shoes when...the starting capacitor went out in the mill motor. Damn...things like that NEVER happen at a good time! Waiting for new caps. The 1st of which won't be here until Sunday. Not twiddling my thumbs though...there's always something to do in the shop! What a bummer! Carl B.

Yep, they do come in handy. I have a Farmall 300 that makes a great extension of my ability's lol

Russ we call her Big Blue ,she's a New Holland.
The mill is back in business and finished the taper on the lower bar and clearanceing for the front pin and rod.
Next to weld the feet on and the sleeve.
No problems just solutions.

Today started on the main rod.
This is the cross head brass pressed in place.

Another good day in the shop. After sawing the tapers they were sanded and filed. Might work a little more on them but the originals were probably a forging not machined.
