steam line insulation ideas?

I have found that ordinary string is adequate for saturated lines, but even butcher.s string chars away on superheater lines. A couple of coats of barbecue black heat resistant paint insulate just enough to prevent the worst of "Instant ouch" burns. Regards David Powell
