1-1/2" Scale Re Railer Sets

Post by JBodenmann »

Hello My Friends
I will be making some 1-1/2" scale re railer sets. These were popular last time I made them and I sold out quickly. If you are interested let me know so I have an idea of how many to make. No deposit necessary. They will be investment cast in yellow brass. The price is the same as last time. Just think of how cool they will look hanging on the side of your tender. :D $175.00 plus $15.00 shipping.
Have great Day
Jack

Kind of an interesting story on these. When Jack and I needed these for the Berkshire, the guys back on the 765 took the prototype rerailing frogs, loaded them into the back of a pickup truck and took them to be scanned. The sent me the scans which I cleaned up and had Shapeways make the masters from which Jack worked his magic and made the molds.
So if you are wondering if these are accurate scale models, rest assured that they are, and Jack does a great job with having them cast.

Scale Re Railer Sets

Post by Andy R »

Jack,

Those are beautiful.

If you and Jim ever decide to reduce the size and make some in 3/4-inch scale, I will be interested in a pair for the P7d.

Regards,
Andy

In the off chance a 2.5” scale version might happen, I’d be interested.
