Options For Making Stuff Like this?

Post by pollys1dad »

Hi,
What type of tools would a commercial shop use to make an electric guitar chassis like this. https://modulusamplification.com/Blackf ... 42119.aspx I have a couple of Greenlee type knock out punches. Also been reserching box and pan brake, metal folding machines.
What options would a commercial shop be using, rather than on a hobby level?
Cheers.

Now a days probably CNC laser cut all from flat sheet and then fold in a pan brake either manually or automated.
Older school would be big die press for fast, high volume production.
