Anyone have the following Modeltec issues they'd be willing to sell or scan the E6 articles?
May, 1990: Pennsy E6 part 32
July, 1991: Pennsy E6 part 46
Sept, 1991: Pennsy E6 part 48
Oct, 1991: Pennsy E6 part 49
The ones from 1991 are darn near impossible to get....
Thanks,
Joe

Thanks Andy.
For all is attached an index in Excel I made of the Modeltec article series detailing the building of the E6s Atlantic. It ran in 83 parts starting October, 1987 thru March, 1996. Only the locomotive plans were published.
Cheers,
Joe

Joe,
I have all, and would be willing to scan them...however I am at a jobsite until the week of 04 Dec. If you can wait, and no one else responds, email me around the first of Dec. and I'll fix you up.

Joe,
Would you please scan and send me the ModelTec E6s drawings/photos on:
1. Issue Jan 1991 - Ashpan
2. Issue mm 19xx - Compound Airpump
3. Are they all 1.6"/Ft scale?
Yes, i'll pay the costs.
I'm detailing Accucraft PRR E6s live steam engine in 1/32 scale. I don't think
neither of those items on this model is correct. For a start, they used H0 size
air pump.
The ashpan on this model is flushed at the side of the ashbox (which is below the
running board):
1. How much does the pan stick out from the side? I'm guessing at 2" in
true scale
2. Does the ashbox tapers in toward the cab or is it straight w.r.t. the running
board?
3. So from #2 above, is the ashpan's top edge also tapers toward the back in
parallel w the ashbox's bottom edge?
i hope the drawings would answer above. i understand the Modeltec's E6s
drawings are very accurate to the prototype.
No, i couldn't find the Jan 91 issue on-line.

Don't expect a response from Joe, as he has been absent from this board since 2013.
