Baker centerhung traction engine valve gear

Had a fellow who promised to send me a set of drawings for free [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/laugh.gif"%20alt="[/img] But they never came, and he doesn't answer my emails [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/mad.gif"%20alt="[/img]

I remember seeing diagrams of a marine version of baker valvegear in one (?) of my books....... somewhere......
It used an eccentric sheave instead of a return crank as per the loco's.

If that is what you're after, I'll dig it out for you. LOL It'll take a while though......

Yes the traction gear uses an eccentric, it also doesn't have the link to the crosshead.
Here's a couple old catalog pages, unfortunately, I haven't quite figured them out well enough to make a set of usable drawings .
