Decals/ vinyl lettering in 3/4" scale
Decals/ vinyl lettering in 3/4" scale
Hello, does anyone in the great beyond know of a supplier of decal or vinyl lettering ? I have reached the point in my tender build that I soon will need to label my road name, engine # etc. Any help would be great, the shops near me don't do small orders , I live in Cleveland Ohio.

Depending what you're looking for, I use this outfit all the time, mostly in smaller scales. They do small runs, etc.

Miracle says 1" scale through full size. Do they make 3/4" at all.

Check with Fastsigns in downtown Cleveland. This is a franchise type business but the one near me has no problem with cutting a few numbers for me as a stencil for paint.

I've done my decals on a Silhouette Cameo vinyl cutter. Came out alright.

You should be able to find any number of vinyl cutters online with scaleable type capability. The problem may be the particular type font you need/want.

I have used them for G-scale equipment and they worked out well. So, I imagine they can do larger stuff too.JohnHudak wrote: ↑Mon Jul 19, 2021 9:46 am I've used highball graphics too, and they were great..

You can buy high quality vinyl and stencil material from Oracal on line. Excellent product to work with.
I do my drawings in Inkscape which is a free to use software that can be downloaded. Learning to use Inkscape is simple as watching Youtube tutorials. You can master it in a week end.
If you are doing a project then I like Connie at Miracle. But a year ago I switched to doing my own stencils and vinyl projects using a Cricut Vinyl Cutter. It has the capability of doing 12x24 inch cuts. While the can be around $200.00 new, I found one of facebook market for $100.00I've done my decals on a Silhouette Cameo vinyl cutter.
