I'm after dimensional drawings or info on the Westinghouse cross compound compressor lubricator that were mounted on the UP challenger and BB
Not sure if this was a standard item supplied with the compressors or a third party item from maybe Nathan or Detroit etc .
Any info especially drawings would be greatly appreciated .
Thanks for any help .

Your photos are pretty fuzzy for my old eyes. I don't think this is it, but it may help rule out one possibility. This a Nathan compressor lubricator used on 1942-1944 War Department Consolidations.

The pictures show this to be the Westinghouse F-1 mechanical lubricator. There are some quite good, dimensioned drawings on page 786 in the 1938 "Locomotive Cyclopedia"

Re: Westinghouse compressor lubricator info
It has been awhile but the Lubricators were made , I got a Westinghouse users manual from 1947 and used the dimensional info they had which was pretty good .
There was an interesting item I found in the manual , someone had written notes on a piece of paper from 1948 with the exact date on it pretty neat when you find that stuff Im sure he is no longer here to see what he had written .
