Wow! I've been looking for one of these locomotives for awhile now. I know Dave Sclavi constructed the originals, but was unable to retain the molds for the castings. How many were built and where are they today? I really want to see one or more of them in action.

Re: NJLS 1983
well to my knowledge 4 were built and completed, two of which belong to two of our members at NJLS which are the engines posted in the pictures, 774 and 775. the third number 785 built by Hugh Wachter resides with a member at PLS. there was a 4th number 776, which belonged to one of our older members dave Knowles. he sold it to someone and from what I hear it's in pieces. supposedly

I believe three were built by Dave S. and one was built by Hugh Wachter.
