Fonts for engraving

Post by JohnR »

Looking for a source of fonts in drawing form that can be imported into
Cad programs as a dxf file.
Preferably free if possible.

Thank you

Most CAD files will let you create type with any font, and then let you export the outlines as a DXF file.

Here's the resulting DXF for download: https://www.dropbox.com/s/13314jmhp44ka ... t.dxf?dl=0 The text is 1" high.

A little locomotive with 4 wheels on the track is a lot more fun
than a 1/2 finished one with 16 wheels on the bench!
