Mississippi Industrial Heritage Museum

Post by Oldengineer »

This coming weekend is the annual display of steam machinery at the Mississippi Industrial Heritage Museum in Meridian, Mississippi. Many stationary and other types of steam powered artifacts will be under steam at the former Soule Steam Feed Works on the edge of downtown Meridian.

Check their website for more details: http://www.soulelivesteam.com/home.html The festival will be Friday, November 6, and Saturday, November 7, 2015, 9am to 4pm, both days. Entrance fee is $5.00 per person, not to exceed $25.00 for a family. I went to the festival last year and it is definitely worth a trip to see the engines run.

The festival coincides with the Meridian RailFest held just one block away from the steam fest.
