Spindle to table feed is important. You don't want the feed overcome the spindle's milling tool.

Nice mill!
More important, you have a copy of Machinery's Handbook on your bench!
That's the sign of a serious person wanting to learn more and improve their workmanship!!!

I had several outstanding Mechanical Engineering graduates (Univ. of Washington, Seattle) to whom I personally gifted copies to of Machinery's Handbook.
They have been forever grateful, and have made good use of the information contained therein.
And the production people they manage have increased respect for those Engineers when they discover their remarkable hands-on machining knowledge.
That is the key to a useful Engineer! Useful knowledge.

Indeed! I have three copies: two belonged to my father, the other one I purchased.

I keep the newest one (18th Edition) in the shop. The other two are on other floors of my 3.5 story house.

Use it all the time, particularly when cutting threads.

I've operated a few of those K&T's in my day. To me, they are the Rolls Royce of milling machines. One of them had the optional vertical head, which was quite nice.

I really like the rapid traverse on all the axes.

Very nice, Andy.
