I have a zelenda UZ4 lathe and I've found little information about them.
They're Czech and the company is long gone, but there are many machines still in existence in eastern Europe.
Search Zelenda soustruh

Hello, thank you for your response. I have search for zelenda soustruh. Found some zelenda but nothing about mine. When I look on internet with zelenda zo 100 nothing. Only big sisters like the zelenda zn150. This is what I also found.liveaboard wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 5:18 pm I have a zelenda UZ4 lathe and I've found little information about them.

I think you would find documentation for the zn150 useful. The designs are likely to be very similar and there probably are many common parts.

Re: Help wanted. Does anybody knows who made this Lathe?
Did you buy it from a Troostwijk auction?
I bought some machines through them in NL and Belgium before I moved to Portugal.
But not my lathe, that came from a shop in North Holland.
I can find practically no information on mine; there is a czech website with pictures of a mint one that looks like it was never used, but that's about all.
I found it doesn't matter; there are no parts to be had, you have to make them or fake them anyway.
The machine is basic enough to just work it out by looking at it.
I was missing 1 change gear, and figured out that they used standard module 1.5 spur gears that are easy to get. The same with the rack and apron drive gears.
I replaced the cross feed screw and nut with standard parts too. I pressed the new screw into the old spindle and pinned it.
