Whisper commpressor

I need help regarding the oil that should be used in this air compressor. Upon a search in the net, there wasn't any help. This air compressor is made out of a fridge compressor and the company made some changes to it. Thanks in advance for any help.

What I found on the web seems to indicate you shouldn't use any oil.

Well mine does use oil and has a slight glass where you can see the oil level since it is low and my idea is to change the oil but l don't know what brand and technical characteristics of the oil.

Refrigeration compressors use a special oil, but that's because of the gas.
It's quite similar to hydraulic oil in viscosity.

So in the absence of specific literature, I'd say go with hydraulic oil.
I use it in my mill gearbox, tractor gearbox, and even my hydraulic systems.

Yep a ISO 32 hyd. oil would be a good choice . also called tractor fluid /oil for hyd systems.
