Sorry but I scrapped out one of these in 2010. It was too slow and took up too much room. Maybe I shouldn't have but it is too late now. I got $0.10/# for it.
From the remaining parts I have it looks like it might have been green or grey, take your choice.

I saved and repainted the cover if you need one. Couldn't bear to sell it, too,

I use a synthetic soluble oil, my steel supplier decants it into a coke bottle from a large drum, not sure of the manufacturer.
Charges me $8 per liter.

Thanks for the pics , I think the green was the primer they used . I found a few traces of it on mine as well . if mine was grey it was a few shades darker then what was on your saw .
I still can't tell if it was a grey or dark blue .
Wish I could put your door to good use , but mines in good shape .

I still like the power hack , it isn't as handy as a band saw. But it still out cuts my cheapo 4x6
Having mine on wheels makes it a bit less in the way to .

I still have these blades in good to a couple of missing teeth condition. They are about 14" between holes. PM me if you are interested.

Thank you , but I think I have a lifetime supply , I took a handful of blades in to Salem saw to get sharpened and when I picked them up they multiplied by about 100 .
They was sitting around collecting dust and the fellow told me I looked like a good home

I have a terrible Chinese power hacksaw; there were many good old ones for sale but they were all in places from which transport wasn't economically possible.
The Chinese one was located where I could get it brought to me in Portugal, so that's what I got.

Bandsaws are the standard now, but would have cost 3x more (here). I use a chopsaw for small things, because when I put a chunk in the hacksaw, I can go to lunch while it cuts.

The hacksaw came with it's original blade still in it, with carbide teeth. I haven't found anything like that, only HSS replacements.

The carbide hacksaw blade is a single long strip of sawtooth brazed to a steel strip.
I'll have to post a picture...

I have a few brazed carbide blades I've been saving in case I have to cut something hard .
Probably a pretty common item back in 60's. Not so much now
