RED train lantern ideas

Greg...what? No blinky...like a real FRED? Or does that come out in the next modification? :roll: Carl B.

If you want flashing in a dead simple LED driver circuit, use a LP5560...

In its default state it flashes about once a second.

I use one similar to these (LM3909) powered by a single D-cell battery in an annunciator to indicate the garage door is open. The battery lasts for years in this application.
