THE CASTINGS ARE GONE! Thanks for the comments, picture and interest. Maybe we'll get to see the engine in its finished state. :D

To revive a dead horse for anyone that may be interested, the shipping cost of these castings from the west coast to the east coast, via FedEx freight, was just a hair over $400 dollars. The crate and contents tipped the scale at 300 lbs. If the engine does indeed get finished, it will be a very exceptional piece as there are few like it anywhere. :)
