Model Steam Pressure Gauges
With the help of fellow board member Mike McCotter we came up with the following steam pressure gauges;
Basic specs, the dial comes in at 2" in diameter, bottom is threaded for 5/16-27mtp threads. I have a limited quantity of 3/16" dia tube fittings that can also be included with the gauge.
Price is $150each + $8 Shipping in the USA, fittings are available for $10extra.
If interested best to send money via my paypal adam@miller4.org
Thanks,
Adam
In the first round we made up 10 of these so they are first come first serve, but if the demand is there we hope to make more. Re: Model Steam Pressure Gauges
Is the overall diameter 2 in or is the dial face alone 2 in? If so what is the overall diameter?
Very nice looking!

Re: Model Steam Pressure Gauges
What about different pressure ranges? 250PSI, 200 PSI
Re: Model Steam Pressure Gauges
I have always been told your gauge should be about double your working pressure. Don't most models run about 100-125 PSI? So a 200-250 PSI gauge would be ideal.
Am I off base on this?

What would shipping be to Canada? I would think it should fit in some kind of small flat rate box.

To answer a few questions;
Tim 2" is the dial face itself measured at the largest diameter of the bezel. The case itself is is nominally a little larger than 1.5" the whole gauge stands about 1-1/16" tall.
Howard, it seems like last time this came up the consensus was most guys wanted something in the 300psig range. I can do them right now in the 160psig range, and the gauges I use to start with are also available in 200psig if there is interest in getting artwork built up around that pressure range too. 250psig may take a little more R&D to figure out a good and simple gauge to use for the cause.
Herman, I just looked up shipping to Canada I think $15 should probably do it.

Money sent. Looking forward to it.
Re: Model Steam Pressure Gauges
I ran out of the compression fittings for now, but still have 5 gauges available. Dan and Jeff they should go out today.
Re: Model Steam Pressure Gauges
Just an update here, I am now all sold out, hopefully we will do another run sometime in the not too distant future, if not even expand on the line altogether.
Re: Model Steam Pressure Gauges
Adam,
Will you be restocking the 3/16” tube fittings, or do I need to find one elsewhere?
Thanks, Dan
