BUILDING A PENNSY LOCOMOTIVE?

Post by Trainman4602 »

In addition to make the Claw Foot markers, I am making a run of Pennsy hand rail stanthons.

The Pennsy had a special style stantion. It was more like a fork then the clamping style that was used on the majority of US steam .

They are made of brass “lost wax” castings with a 8-32 thread cast in and the hole for the 1-72 bolt and nut cast in as well.

The price is $6.00 ea I will ship to any US location for free if more then 10 stantions are ordered.

Here is a picture of the sample.

Hmmm, nice photos. It looks like the famous K4s 1361 model. Can we see the entire broadsided picture
of your model? Does the turbo generator actually work?

Hi Dave,

Wow! Thx for the photos of the entire K4s. Looks like you've got the boiler, belpaire, and the rest of the
K4s's profile correctly. I've see too many of PRR locos with amateurish boxy fireboxes etc.

Congrats!

Hi Dor

Thanks for the compliment. It wasn't hard to get it right I had the original prints. I just followed the road map.

You're a far better driver than I am.
