Stuart Turner Victoria Photos.

Post by LouStule »

Here are a few quick photos of the Stuart Turner Victoria I just finished. This was a 2 year project off and on. I tested it on a small amount of compressed air and it runs beautify so I'm happy with that. I have also built the Stuart Beam engine and most of the other smaller Stuart engines. I could poet photos if interested.

Wow, that's a beauty!

I'm curious about the smallish square piece of wood in the middle of the base. What's going on there?

Thanks! There is a cross brace across the middle of the base.

Cool little piece of machinery. When will we see her running on steam?

Lou,
What a lovely engine.
When you run it on steam expect it to be even more gratifying than running on air … but the downside will be (as I have discovered) a no longer pristine engine but one drenched in steam oil, cylinder oil, and way oil. And your spouse won't let you bring it back in the house.
Thanks for posting. Let's see some of the others?
Regards,
Andy

Thanks! I do love running them on stream but you are so right, it does wear the shine off pretty quick! I've got a Stuart Beam engine that I finished a couple of years ago and I will post some photos of that one.
