It is like painting a car with beads..robots are very good at this

How many hours would you estimate that it takes you to fully assemble an engine?

Hard to tell right now, as we're going back and forth between three of them, as well as the regular daily work.

I just punch time cards for each project and then total them when the project is completed.

You may have already watched this Glenn, if not? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fo7SmNuUU4&t=850s As soon as I watched it I thought of this thread. Yours is of course a Packard produced Merlin. And by most accounts I've read they did build a better engine than even RR did. But this gives a glimpse into some of what it took to build them.

Put a few engines to good use Saturday morning on a breakfast mission to the center of the State and back.
