How does one recapture it and continue editing?

They are recovered by clicking on your name, top right side of the screen, immediately to the right of the Private message button. That will open a page on which you can select the User Control Panel. Click that, then, on the left hand side of the screen, assuming you're using Allan style subsilver as your board choice, click Manage drafts button (left side of the page), in the middle of the five choices. That opens a page on which any saved drafts will appear. You can then click on the one you wish to edit. The button you click will determine what you can do. If you wish to post the saved draft when finished, you should click the load the draft button, which will allow you to post when finished. If you don't plan to post yet, you can then select the choice that allows you to edit.

Indications are the drafts reside somewhere in the files that contain your private information. I can assure you that they remain your private property, with no one else having access.
