https vs. http!

Post by dorin »

Recently, some browsers (chrome for sure) started reporting "not secure" for websites using http.
(No encryption on the connection)

This was the standard way of operating for many years. For your home and trusted connections, this is likely not a problem either.

If you happen to visit the chaski machinist in a public setting using public wifi, it is time to switch to https.
This will protect your information much better than http.

Here is a link to the secure connection.

Everything should operate much as before...if you have been seeing not secure, that message will go away.

Thank you everybody!
