I have been trying to edit the way I am contacted about notifications unsuccessfully.
I un-click those areas where I only wish to be notified by e-mail. I click "submit" a screen appears that says my preferences have been updated, and when I return to the preferences page, it has gone back to the default and NOT what I selected.
What am I doing wrong?

Keith,
I attempted to edit mine and found the same problem. I'll report this issue to Mike.

Re: Unable to edit notifications
Interestingly enough I was able to reproduce it, but then I was successful.
Suggest trying this.
As you did before:
* go to User Control Panel->Edit Notification Options.
* Select the notifications you want deleted.
* hit submit
When you see the screen that your preferences have been updated...wait a moment...don't press any buttons.
Your screen should update itself and the notifications might be correct!
Please try and let me know.

I did as you suggested and when the page updated....it went right back to the pre-change selections it did not update.

Re: Unable to edit notifications
I have toyed with the issue and discovered that you can edit such that you can receive email notifications, or not, but the notifications that appear on the board default back to the board settings. Unless there is a change in the software, editing that portion (the first column, assuming one is using subsilver2) is not possible.
