can you put it above a christmas tree, pitched at an angle and 'circle your way around' ?

i strongly suspect that what my neighbors use is derived from what you have there...
Too many things going on to bother listing them.

my turning circle is a bit large, but the height and angle are no problem.
Just have to reverse and come from another direction.

Nothing is derived from this thing, it's all home made. But there are lots of similar factory built ones, and ones with circular saw blades that will cut through larger branches.

cool...

what if your hedge is 10' high, 4' diameter and tapered like a Christmas Tree???

can the tractor sit stationary and spin the trimmer around the top of the hedge???

https://www.cgernon.com/sptf/trimming.htm

granted - it is a VERY SPECIALIZED business

it is very important that the taper be accurate to 0.1 degrees

No; we don't do Christmas in our house, or bring a tree inside to die, so really I have no use for that function.
Or maybe I would have built it.
