LEXICON

Post by RONALD »

I received this in an email today, and for those of us interested in casting metal, it should be of benefit.

It is sprinkled with a few German words that escaped "Dipl.Ing. Dr. mont. Stephan Hasse"s editors; should be no problem in understanding tho:

------------------------------------

German Based Foundry-Lexicon is Now Online in English

It was finally a great step ahead”, explained German author, Dipl.Ing. Dr. mont. Stephan Hasse during the presentation at the Metal China 2014 in Beijing last week.

The foundry-Lexicon in English provides more than 1.200 keywords concerning the entire foundry technology combined with pictures, graphs, tables, videos and links.

Based on the German standard work Giesserei-Lexikon, the English version attracts foundries, engineers, universities, students and buyers from around the world.

The next step will be the Chinese version of the lexicon. Dr. Hasse mentioned with special thanks to the companies of ANDRITZ Metals, ASK Chemicals, BÜHLER, KÜTTNER and YXLON who supported the English translation as main sponsors.

The new foundry-Lexicon is accessible free of charge at the following link:
