Howdy all. I've been in search of a barrel maker that will undertake a .177 barrel project of mine. I'm not having any luck. Here is a list of the makers that I've tried so far.
Benchmark
Brux
Krieger
Lothar
Pac-nor
Rock Creek
If you know of any manufacturers that I have missed could you please list them?
Thanks,
Dan

ok so why is it soo hard to find a barrel??? based on the scanty info provided nobody is interested??
given your interest in airguns you may need to source whoever makes air gun barrels.
here is a interesting discussion on air gun barrels and the manf process

Re: Custom barrel manufacturers in the US
I'm interested in buying 10 barrels to start. 1:36" twist, taper lapped to my bore a groove dimensions. It seems some makers can't twist slow enough or can't taper lap such a small bore.

Re: Custom barrel manufacturers in the US
that slow a twist is going to take a special carbide button that isnt going to pay for its self in ten barrels. as to the lapping problem i can not even begin to speak.
maybe you could buy smooth bore blanks and rifle them yourself. ??

Re: Custom barrel manufacturers in the US
You might have more success if you offer to pay time and materials for the initial barrels. Then again, the cost may drive you away. The best makers have more than enough business and are unlikely to be interested on a strictly commercial basis.
