Re: Did anybody else notice something?
I am all for cutting Kali in two and making the north half of it "Southern Oregon"... There is some very pretty land and some really great people hiding out in the north part of that state.
Re: Did anybody else notice something?
Some great people around the Mojave I'm told.

There are some good folks everywhere Al. My heartfelt grief and condolences go out to those that presently suffer under Kali laws.. (To say nothing of our brothers in the UK, Oz, Canada, and elsewhere) I have a great deal of contempt for the useless blankety-blanks that rob, or attempt to rob, people of their liberties, but I've met some good folk wherever I've been, so I dare not condemn geographically.

Actually the best way to cut the state ...
would be along the San Andreas fault(with a slight eastward zig in the bay area to include all of the East Bay on the western side.) That would put almost all the city socialists on one side and the country folk on the other. Something would have to done about Sacramento but with most of the government big-wigs moving to the capital of the "Peoples" Republic of California, it might cure itself.
I use Shooter's Choice for cleaning after ...
jacketed bullets, ProShot Lead Bullet Cleaner after lead bullets, and Break Free CLP for lubrication and corrosion protection. For extreme friction situations, I use Moly-Slide from NECO; for other grease applications, I use MolyDisulphide bearing grease (Ford uses it for wheel bearings.) Satisfied with all.
If you need extreme accuracy on your first shot, you should clean the bore with a patch loaded with lacquer thinner (or something similar) followed with a couple of dry patches to clean out any preservative left in the bore, teflon bearing or not.

Re: I use Shooter's Choice for cleaning after ...
Shooter's Choice is my first pick for a cleaning solution. If the weapon
is heavily leaded or has a lot of copper fouling, I use the Outer's Foul
Out System. My favorite lube is the military PL-S oil. It is a general
purpose oil that doesn't gum up and works great to keep rust away. If I
am out winter hunting, I wipe all the oil out of the mechanism and use
a dry lube. Found out the importance of this while elk hunting. Went to
take my shot and all I got was a click. Oil inside the bolt had frozen up
and slowed down the firing pin to a point that it didn't have enough force
to set off the primer.
