Anybody ever MIG or TIG weld a Mauser bolt face so it can be made to fit a 7.65 x 39 cartridge head?

weld all in one pass, you should be able to get away without re-heat treating. Sort of like filling a firing pin hole for re-centering; cool after each small deposit.
