Hi Scot Hey right on to S&W at least they didn't cave in to politicl pressure like colt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are still making guns and selling to the public.

I would rate it as good but not great. I handeled one the other day. It is not as tight as a Kimber or Springfield.

whereabouts .i have been trying to locate a ( REAL MANS ) gun it was made by ohio ordance called ( M. O. R. ) manualy operated rifle . gas system disabled .
browning automatic rifle . fondly refered to as . ( BAR ) designed by the father of all firearms

The problem with the Smith gun is they cloned the 1911 then used thier own proprietory magazines. That was just plain stupid from a marketing standpoint.
