Started the year off with a trip to Holliston MA for the New Years Day Steam Up at Waushakum Live Steamers.

Two points to mention. The simplified formula for RPM is (CS x 4)/D The 4 come from 12/Pi and is close enough. CS is Cutting Speed, same as SFPM Example, 05 diameter tool and SFPM of 100 so, 100x4 = 400 / .5 = 800 RPM Second, are you keeping the quill retracted into the head as much as possible? Bet...

I went to this show on Saturday and had a great time. Took the usual lot of pictures and a short amount of video. I hope that you all find it of interest.
