I sometimes wonder if one were to build a model of the British steam shunter that looked like a small deisel loco if it would be accepted at RLS? Gary, Though we've driffed a wee bit off topic - If your engines prime mover is steam, you are welcome to come on out to RLS and operate your locomotive....

Thanks to some hard and hot work by our club members yesterday (including my new favorite "Tractor Guy" Pennsy Fan) we made some great progress on getting the railroad back together: Tracks are now in place in front of the new station:

The court will toss this out. It's laughable on it's face. Here's the view that the truck driver had heading North on 95 (thanks Google): The Amtrak was headed from right to left in this image. Nothing obstructs the view for miles, the train would have been clearly seen long before the grade crossin...

Five hundred and ten feet reinstalled Saturday, six hundred and sixty six feet total ballasted by the end of the day!!
...now if only the contractor can keep from screwing it up before we get to run on it again !

Chet, if you do list your engine for sale try to provide as many photos from different angles as you can.
If there are photos of you operating the engine at LSLS reference those images as well.
This way potential buyers can see that she's not a “Shop Queen”.
