Re: cleaning burner nozzles

Hi All, still looking for a solution for cleaning the orfices under the nozzles, currently it seems the only way to access these is by removing the truck underneath and taking the assembly out that way, these are in a Little Engines locomotive

Re: Bosch AB 33 magneto

Update on mag repair, replaced magnets as existing ones would no stay charged, new ones work fine so we will see how this lasts.
Cheers!

Burner tubes

Hi All, is there a method for chemically cleaning the soot from burners without having to remove the whole assembly, seems there may be a pressure issue that caused everything to get sooted up.

Re: Bosch AB 33 magneto

As an experiment could I use 2 fishing magnets 1 on each side to see if I get a good spark, if so I would get the original magnets recharged.
Just a thought.
Thanks

Re: Bosch AB 33 magneto

Is there a means of adding more magnets on top of the existing? I did use keepers when I removed the magnets, aside from a weak spark how can I tell if the magnets are strong enough?
Thanks

Re: Energy Rotary spool valve

Our 2 newer locomotives have the drift valves. The 2 older ones do not, none have brakes they rely on feathering the valve for control.
Thanks
