Re: Apps to view the forum

In the absence of Tapatalk, I have installed two more styles that have mobile support.
If you would like to suggest a different one: https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/styles-2

Thank you for your patience.

Re: Apps to view the forum

I am still trying to figure out the Tapatalk upgrade.
They sent me instructions, but they are for an old version of PHPBB and are nearly five years old.
I am starting to get frustrated by them.

More maintenance Thursday 3/16 -- Correction 8:00am CST

I just realized how much I have to do! I really want to wrap up tomorrow, so I'm going to start one hour early. 8:00 AM. Sorry for any inconvenience! I hope this is the last week of regular maintenance. This week might be a bit bigger and take more time. I expect 90 minutes or so. It will start at ...

March 9th maintenance (Starting 9:00am Central Time)

There may be a hiccup or two tomorrow (3/9). More maintenance is required.
This is getting to be like maintaining a steam engine!

Re: Voluntary Financial Contributions to Support Chaski? (Thank you!)

I just noticed this post was made 5 years ago today!! Five years ago, we decided to delete the advertisements as they were creating a bad experience on the board. I think it was a great decision and I am happy to be advertising free. Though my server costs have not gone up appreciably, other costs h...

Re: We are back! [Updated 2/2/2023]

Open external links in new window is now active. (It is not perfect, but it works pretty good. For example, if you have a link that is this.that.otherthing.com.pe, it may mess up. But for normal look links, it seems to be okay. Style "basic" and style "MyInvision" have been added...

Re: We are back!

Hello, I have not been able to read through all the comments yet, but summarizing what I quickly read. 1. It would be nice to have replacements for the missing styles. I will see what new styles replicated the old ones that are no longer supported. I will try to add a couple more tomorrow. 2. Open l...

Re: Railroad Warehouse 2.8.2 Mikado Logger Build

The last one compressed down to about 1 megabyte. I think that we can live with this. By the way, the reason there is/was a restriction on dimensions is that the service provider I use provides a fixed amount of space...and the only way given by the phpbb folks to control size was by specifying dime...
