Re: Show us your lathe!

My dad's Myford Super 7 is finally back to work making chips again. With thanks to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IbfUaeUp7RY&ab_channel=AustinBlake for stand ideas and plans. Its next project/challenge is to complete an Allen Model's Ten Wheeler that he had started. Wish me well. Myford-2.jpg ...

Re: Stuart Turner 5A drawings

I have a complete set of 5A drawings including pump and reversing gear. I'll have to scan them into sections as the pages are larger than my scanner.

Re: Suggestions on transporting 7.5" equipment

Sorry, no photos, but thats the way my dad hauled his 0-4-0 Marie Estelle in his Chrysler Newport before he bought an F-150. He took out the back seat and laid a section of track. Of course the little 0-4-0 could be carried by 2 people.

Re: Injectors - A General Guide to the Model Automatic Injector

Vent hood over metal lathe

Hi all, I'm new to the forum and have recently inherited a collection of metal working tools and am getting them set up in my own shop. The lathe is a Myford Super 7 and as I'm setting things up I'm wondering if planning some form of exhaust vent over the cutting area would be beneficial. My dad had...
