I have no problem with quick changeover from lathe to mill on my 9729. Remove the original square tool post one screw slide it off, open the compound vice, I have a Palmgren vice mounted on a 1” solid block that clamps right in the compound vice and ready to mill. Better Quality V Belts for the G 9729?
Has anyone replaced the cheap Chinese V belts on the G 9729 lathe/mill? Would you happen to have replacement belt numbers?

I have always wondered about the mill spindle lubrication on a 3 in 1 machine, how the mill spindle gets lubrication. I thought maybe they used permanently lubricated bearings. The Manual does not mention routine lubrication of the mill spindle like it does with all other areas of the machine.

Most drawbars on the 3 in 1 machine mill spindles are 3/8”-16 thread, so any tooling would need to match or another drawbar would be needed.

If anyone has replaced the half nut on a G 9729, can you tell me the steps for removal? My machine is a 2004 model and the lead screw has the keyway burrs from the manufacturing process. I bought an 8” 4 jaw for my G 9729 lathe but I think running it all time would be too much weight for the spindle bearings, staying with the 6” max.
