So the Delete "X" disappears after one additional posting.
Consistent with all four of my postings above.

My new message above does presently show the edit and delete buttons.
No three dots except by the "Contact:" under the poster''s name.

I think it is most important to level the lathe bed on the bench top.
That allows removal os any twists that develop on uneven mounting surfaces.
Of course, getting the bench to sit level on the floor is the first step.
