To determine the most comfortable height position to operate a lathe
stand, arms at side , bend elbow 90 degrees and measure from floor to hand
that should give you the approximate height of the stand, adjust for the
carriage , cross slide controls.

As Bill said, define 'mini' lathe, some can weight 100lbs or 800lb + lbs.

50kg is about 110 lbs, that's pretty light.
You can just Google for "metal lathe work bench" or "metal lathe stand"
that should give you lots of pictures to reference.

When I had my 8X16 lathe, I perched it on top of an old trunk with wheels. When working, I sat on an elcheapo mechanics stool, with a cold beer within arms reach. It was quite comfortable and enjoyable to work this way, compared to standing up.

And for some of us no beer is required to get all those scrapped parts...

I'd bet your awful scrap parts are better fit for purpose than my final, "That'll just have to do." parts.
