The cylinder is shown mounted vertically Behind the first driver axle and would not work with this system. I chose this system over the plans as it is progressive and compensates for uneven brake shoe wear without having to adjust each one individually. No tears required.

Hmmm...
My Mikado has fully equalized brakes with the vertical brake cylinder, per my plans.
Perhaps improved plans over yours?

Looks like my upgrade of the Allen linkage from 1985
Too many things going on to bother listing them.

Hmm!, My plans do not show the configuration in your Pics Russ. Yours has progressive links added over what's shown on my drawings. Had I known I would have gone that route. Oh well, too far along at this point. :?

Here is the resized pic file I was talking about:

Thanks for the comment on the issue with pictures. As the software was upgraded today, there are a few bugs that may need to be addressed. I have notified Mike of your experience.

Another thing that seems broken (or at least different than before) is that when you click on a picture to enlarge it, there used to be "previous" and "next" arrows on either side of the enlarged image that let you scroll through all the other images on the page. Those arrows seem to have disappeared.

Indeed. But now the previous and next arrows seem to let you scroll through the pictures within an individual post. If I remember correctly, they used to let you scroll through all the pictures on an entire page full of posts. I'm not sure which is correct or preferred.
