Atlantic locomotive
What ever happened to the Pennsylvania e6s Atlantic, that was offered by saturated steam out of Miami Florida ?....used to be advertised in modeltec in the early 90s. Is it still around ??

Re: Atlantic locomotive
Yes, it is. I have one.
Walt Keely has the patterns, castings and drawings for it. His username on here is: E6s 68.
I'll let him know that you're interested.

Speaking of Saturated Steam. What ever happened to the Tangye molds and patterns?

Re: Atlantic locomotive
Weren't some of these castings designed to also be used in a PRR 4-8-2? or was that a separate set of patterns?

Here is my #462 at the Ridge Live Steamers track.
And yes she needs a true set of drivers. Walt, I'll be calling.
The engine number came from Norman telling people "I have a 460 - too!"

Re: Atlantic locomotive
is there any visual difference in a "saturated" vs superheated e6 variant as a model?
Was thinking that only 1 e6 was built as a saturated locomotive and that the production run, including the famous linbergh 460 were all superheated.
