Wiha nut driver set question
Hello My Friends
Who sells a Wiha imperial nut driver set with the 4.5MM included. I don't want to buy a metric set just for the 4.5MM driver. Coles used to sell a set like that. Unfortunately Coles is no longer around. Anyone know where I can get this set?

Jack,
Would be quite a drive for you, but McFadden-Dale hardware sells them individually, imperial and metric.

Look at hobby lobby or tower hobbies. They sell them individually for the r/c guys
Too many things going on to bother listing them.

Jack:
Is the 4.5 all you need? There is an R/C shop here in town and if they have one I can get it for you.
(And I see some on Ebay.....)

Re: Wiha nut driver set question
I found mine on Amazon a couple of years ago. But if you want a 5/64 to fit the #00 bolts from J.I. Morris you have to make your own. I still lack a piece of red plastic to finish off the handle so it looks like the top will have to be black.
I have a set of the short nut drivers with clear red handles that I got 40+ years ago from Cole's, but the connection between the handles and shaft wouldn't withstand as much torque as I tried to use. Those from Wiha are much better made.

They have 2mm which is only .0006" larger than 5/64". Works great.Dick_Morris wrote: ↑Sat Dec 25, 2021 1:16 am I found mine on Amazon a couple of years ago. Anthony, thanks. I'll order one. For the time it would take to finish mine it's worth the $10.

I have made some hex socket drivers using a machined down head of an Allen cap screw fitted to a hardwood dowel would this work for you ?

Re: Wiha nut driver set question
I made some small thin-wall ones by using set screws loctitied into a length of hex stock. A belt sander took off part of the thread crests.
