Hello, dose anyone know of or have a print for this device? I like making thing's from a print as it is easy to know what material it is going to take and that it has been done before. I have a water pump an cylinders that need oil(has slide valves) anyone who can help me on this quest thank you.

I've made one but the "plans" were just in my head. They are very simple to make to suit the available space on your loco.

It is just a tank with a single inlet controlled by a needle valve, a drain for the condensate, and an oil fill plug. Just be sure to be very generous with the size of the oil fill plug so the air in the tank can escape as you add steam oil or it will take forever to fill.

Do you want a separating piston between water and oil.. or just let them mix and separate?

What diameter and how long a chamber do you want?

As mentioned...make it up as you go..or I can help with some basic sketches as needed.

I think one that is 1" in dimension and 3" long without a piston will be the simplest for me to build. I will mount it under the running board. If you can a print would be great 😁

Happy to help..just need a bit more info

What size inlet fitting for steam?

What size outlet valve and oil pipe?

What size fill connection?

What size drain fitting?

On which end(s) do you want each fitting?

Once you answer all of there questions...you will have designed the unit since it is a piece of 1" pipe...3 inches long with all of the fittings attached.

Just look at one on a model and realize what it is...and go build it.
