Expansion link block

I have made blocks as greg described as well as making them out of a turned ring with the correct ID and OD..then sawed out what I wanted.

I completed one radius rod and expansion link, put them on the engine and ran it on air; it worked fine but the original radius rod had an offset in it to to accommodate a misalignment that I didn't realize was there. Sooooo, now I'm going to redo everything associated with the valve gear, and get it square,plumb and right.
If you can see it in the photo, the link block has rounded ends so it can travel to the extreme ends of the expansion link slot, don't know if I will do it that way on the remake.
